The first thing I looked for when this basswood arrived was to see if it was warped. There's nothing worse than warped wood — no warping at all. Flat, smooth, and ready to cut right out of the box.
These boards are GORGEOUS. This wood is very uniform. Each sheet is sanded impeccably smooth. I usually sand before I start a project — didn't even need to with these. Absorbs paint, stain, and glue evenly without blotching.
